Hi, I’m Isaac — a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Master Social Worker practicing under clinical supervision.
If you feel stuck in anxiety spirals, intrusive thoughts, or compulsions that don’t make sense but still feel impossible to stop, you’re not alone — and you’re not “too much.” My goal is to offer a space that feels grounded, respectful, and collaborative, especially for people who have felt misunderstood or judged in the past.
Before entering clinical practice, I spent 13+ years in public education supporting children and families navigating anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress. I’ve seen how emotional pain can show up as perfectionism, avoidance, irritability, or self-doubt — and how often people get mislabeled instead of truly supported.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults who:
✓ Feel trapped in OCD or anxiety “loops” (rumination, reassurance-seeking, checking, avoidance)
✓ Want practical tools — not just insight
✓ Are ready to build confidence facing fears, at a pace that feels doable

I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — the gold-standard treatment for OCD and many anxiety disorders. ERP helps your brain learn a new response to fear: noticing intrusive thoughts or anxiety sensations without doing compulsions or avoidance to feel “better.”
My style is warm, steady, and structured. We’ll focus on:
I work through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens. That means we move with consent, pacing, and nervous-system awareness — and we make room for the real-life contexts that shape anxiety and OCD (family dynamics, identity, culture, and lived experience).

Outside of sessions, I’m usually taking long walks with my dogs, listening to music, watching thought-provoking horror films, playing story-driven RPGs, or tending to my plants. I also keep a personal mindfulness practice that helps me stay grounded and present — the same steadiness I bring into the therapy room.
