Our office is right here in west Plano, with free parking off the Dallas North Tollway. Care for kids, teens and adults, in person or online.

Layers Counseling Specialists is a Plano practice where every therapist specializes. We help children, teens and adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, ADHD, autism, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), eating concerns and trauma. Our office at 8105 Rasor Blvd. has a playroom for young children, quiet rooms for teens and adults, and free parking. Plano families come to us for exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD, SPACE coaching for parents of anxious kids, play therapy from age 3, neurodiversity-affirming care for ADHD and autism, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for adults working through trauma.
We specialize in OCD (including ERP and I-CBT), anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, ARFID, eating disorders, and trauma, working with children as young as 3, teens, and adults.

Our office is at 8105 Rasor Blvd., Suite 206, in far north Plano just off the Dallas North Tollway near the Frisco line. From Legacy West, Willow Bend, or the neighborhoods along Preston Road, it’s usually a short drive, and parking is free right outside the building. If a trip to the office doesn’t fit your week, every service we offer is also available by secure video anywhere in Texas, and many clients mix the two.
Being local means therapy can fit around a Plano school day and a work commute. Many clients come in person every week, some meet by video, and plenty mix the two. Evening times are available, and most new clients start within a week or two of their free consult.
We’re at 8105 Rasor Blvd., Suite 206, Plano, TX 75024, in far north Plano near the Dallas North Tollway. Parking is free, and online sessions are available anywhere in Texas if you’d rather meet from home.
Come up to Suite 206 to meet the clinician you chose during your free consult. The first session runs about 50 minutes, like every session, and it’s mostly a conversation: what’s been happening, what you’d like to change, and how treatment would work for you or your child.
Yes. Play therapy happens in our Plano playroom, starting around age 3, with toys, art supplies and sandtray chosen for therapy. Parents don’t stay in the room, and monthly parent consultations keep you updated with practical strategies for home.
We’re a private-pay practice, so we don’t send your information to an insurance company. We accept HSA and FSA cards and offer two fee levels: our specialists and our focused clinicians, who are supervised by specialists and cost less. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available too.
Most new clients start the same week as their consult or the next one, depending on the clinician and the day you reach out. Some of our therapists keep a waitlist; if the one you want is full, we’ll tell you honestly and suggest someone who fits.
Yes. You keep the same therapist either way. Many clients come in person for the first few sessions and move some weeks online when schedules get busy, or the other way around.
