Why Layers
Reaching out is often the hardest part, so we keep the first step simple and the care specific.
Complex, often-overlooked struggles
We focus on OCD and intrusive thoughts, anxiety and panic, ADHD (including late-diagnosed teens and adults), autism, ARFID and food-related anxiety, and trauma and PTSD, using gold-standard, research-backed approaches like ERP and I-CBT for OCD and SPACE for childhood anxiety.
Matched to the right clinician
Your story is unique, so your therapy should be too. We thoughtfully match you with a clinician whose training fits what you're walking through, and we tailor the approach to you, drawing on evidence-based methods rather than forcing a single model.
Evidence-based, and genuinely human
Your first step is a free 15-minute video consultation with the clinician you'd actually be working with, not a sales rep or a call center. No pressure, no commitment.
What we treat
Complex, often-misunderstood conditions, treated by clinicians who specialize in them.
Anxiety and its cousins
OCD: intrusive thoughts and compulsions, treated with ERP, rumination-focused ERP, and I-CBTAnxiety and panic: panic, phobias, health and social anxiety, and the what-if loops that run underneath themARFID: food-related anxiety and restrictive eating, with food chaining and family-centered strategiesNeurodivergence and trauma
ADHD: including late-diagnosed teens and adults who have spent years working harder than everyone elseAutism: neurodiversity-affirming care for children, teens, and adults. No forced eye contact, no maskingTrauma and PTSD: TF-CBT, ART, and trauma-informed care for children, teens, and adultsHow we work
Every clinician trains deeply in a few evidence-based methods. Your plan pulls from the ones that fit what you are dealing with.
Exposure and Response Prevention, the gold-standard treatment for OCD and anxiety. Face fears step by step while dropping the compulsions.
Inference-Based CBT resolves the obsessional doubt behind OCD without exposures. A strong option if ERP has not felt like the right fit.
Parent-based treatment for childhood anxiety, OCD, and ARFID, even when your child refuses therapy.
Play-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy for autistic and ADHD children and teens.
ART
Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a brief, structured approach that eases distressing memories for adults with trauma and PTSD.
Practical talk therapy for spotting unhelpful thought patterns and changing them.
Skills for big emotions, distress tolerance, and relationships, woven into sessions.
ACT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: stop fighting intrusive thoughts and act on what matters to you.
What to expect
You don't need the right words or a tidy explanation of what's wrong. You just need to show up. We'll take it from there.
Free consult
15 minutes · video
A free video call with the clinician you'd actually be working with. Share a little about what's bringing you in, get a feel for how they work, ask about approach, scheduling, or fees, and decide together whether it feels like the right fit.
First session
about 50 minutes
Once you're booked, intake paperwork arrives through our secure client portal; please complete it at least 24 hours before. The first session is mostly about getting to know you: what brought you in, a bit of your history, and what you'd like to feel different. You set the pace. For younger children, this session usually includes time with you, the caregiver.
Fees and insurance
private pay · superbills · HSA / FSA
We're a private-pay practice. We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement and accept HSA and FSA cards. Session rates depend on your clinician, and you can ask about them on the call.
