Knowing what's coming makes reaching out easier. After your free 15-minute consultation, we'll get you booked and send your intake paperwork through our secure client portal. Please complete it at least 24 hours before your first appointment, so your session can stay focused fully on you. Your first session (about 50 minutes) is mostly about getting to know you — what brought you in, a bit of your history, and what you'd like to feel different. You set the pace; there's no pressure to share everything on day one. By the end, you'll leave with a sense of direction and a collaborative plan for where to go next. For younger children, this first session usually includes time with you, the caregiver, to gather history and help your child feel comfortable. You don't need the right words or a tidy explanation of what's wrong. You just need to show up — we'll take it from there. 🤍
