OCD, panic, perfectionism and late-diagnosed ADHD or autism. About 20 minutes up US-75 in Plano, or online between classes.

A lot of the people we see from Richardson are adults and students who look like they’re managing fine: high achievers with intrusive thoughts, panic before presentations, or a nagging sense that ADHD or autism was missed years ago. Layers Counseling Specialists is a small practice where every therapist specializes, with exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and panic, and neurodiversity-affirming care for ADHD and autism. We also see Richardson children and teens. Our office is in north Plano, about 20 minutes up US-75, and every service is available online.
We specialize in OCD (including ERP and I-CBT), anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, ARFID, eating disorders, and trauma, working with children as young as 3, teens, and adults.

Yes. We see many college students for OCD, anxiety, perfectionism and ADHD. Sessions can be online from anywhere in Texas, so they can continue through busy semesters and breaks at home, as long as you’re in Texas for each session.
Yes. Many adults come to us after recognizing themselves in a child’s diagnosis or a friend’s story. Our neurodiversity-affirming therapists help you understand how your brain works, reduce burnout, and build systems that fit you. If you’re looking for a formal diagnostic evaluation, ask about it on your free consult and we’ll talk through your options.
We’re a private-pay practice, so we don’t send your information to an insurance company. We accept HSA and FSA cards and offer two fee levels: our specialists and our focused clinicians, who are supervised by specialists and cost less. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available too.

Yes. Perfectionism often runs on the same loop as anxiety: high standards, fear of mistakes, and checking or redoing to feel safe. CBT and exposure-based work help you loosen those rules so you can do good work without paying for it with your sleep.
